Brushing Gelcoat is the first coat applied to the surface of a mold in a liquid state and becomes the finished surface when removed from the mold. Gelcoat is not a surface-curing type resin. If used for touch-up or any top-coat application it will remain tacky unless covered with Mylar or PVA mold release. Surface Curing agent will also provide a cured surface.
White brushing gel coat is a basic for hand lamination. It is a material used to provide a high-quality finish on the visible surface of a fibre-reinforced composite. This will repair chips, deep scratches, dock dings, pinholes and gouges in fiberglass gelcoat on boats, marinas, snow mobiles, RVs, sail and paddle boats, sailboards, swimming pools, showers, tubs, sinks, etc.
All our Gelcoats and Epoxies are compatible with our Color Pigment.
All Gelcoats and Resins require Catalyst Sold Separately.
