Must be used with Catalyst/Hardener (product 37503) sold separately.
Features are:
- Abrasion resistant polyester gelcoat
- Used for making tooling masters and molds where good gloss retention is paramount
- Extends the life of your molds
For best results the mold should be considerably heavier and stronger than the part which it produces.
Tooling gelcoat is applied in two coats but in the same manner as other gelcoats and should not be thinned.

Purchased This brushing tooling gelcoat and it is the best brushing gelcoat I’ve use thus far. All other brushing gelcoat I’ve purchased at another local companys streaked and beaded away from the mold, making it nearly impossible to get a nice smooth even finish. This tooling gelcoat from Rayplex when brushed on flows out nicely with no streaks or separation, it also goes on in one smooth even coat This is by far the best brushing tooling gelcoat I’ve used.
