Saturation Rollers are a must for producing high quality polyester parts, repair patches, and molds. Rollers remove air voids, tightly compress fabric and mat, and work excess resin to the surface where it can be removed or used to saturate the next layer. Begin with bristle rollers to burst bubbles and evenly distribute the resin. Switch to a standard grooved roller to get good final compaction of the layers. Barrel rollers and corner rollers help in concave tough spots. Both plastic and aluminum types can soak continuously in solvents, but aluminum can be wired brushed if resin cures in the grooves.
